INTO THE UNKNOWN
Although
it is uncomfortable, life must constantly change,
especially when most of the systems and institutions we live with have
been
manipulated to benefit those who manipulated them. If we do not
change doing the same things we have always done it may eventually kill
us
all. You need to disrupt and change that.
You cannot expect anyone in a position of power, stability, or
comfort to willfully upend whatever position they enjoy, even though it is
necessary
to continually renew the world we live in. I would imagine it’s the same for you personally. If things are going good why change them?
So
when you see articles decrying blue collar workers, the rise of
populism, the
need for immigration and so on, you need to look through them for
the real
message which is “things are working the way we want them to, don’t
change anything.”
The question is who does things working the way they are, benefit?
“If you always do what you’ve always done, you'll always get what
you’ve always got.” - Henry Ford
"It is not the strongest or the most intelligent who will survive but
those who can best manage change." - Charles Darwin
Some trusting folks seem to hope they can
affect circumstances appearing
to be beyond their control with wishful thinking, prayer, or some kind
of magic. These illusions often come with similarities to real world
situations that make them seem legitimate, luring and lulling people
into a false sense of hope without action, which is no solution at all.
For example the fortune
telling Tarot card The Fool is the
equivalent of the joker in traditional playing cards. The joker as a wild card is very powerful. Tarot cards in general
describe worldly situations that implies some sort of insight. When
they are seen upside down, strengths become weaknesses. Some people might equate the
meaning in an upside down Fool card to a person like Trump. Click the link to see what I mean. Credit: Biddy Tarot)
But there is no
divine or mystical interventions from a god, fortune
telling or tea leaves coming to fix things. You and millions like you
are the agents of change and you must continually exert your influence
over circumstances to get the lives you want for you and your children.
"I am thankful for all of those who said NO to me. Its because of them I’m doing it myself." - Albert Einstein
I have frequently pointed out in other
articles that change and
disruption are good things, for among other things they expose the
exploitation of the public. Trump, for all of his faults is very
disruptive. For example, right now the
economy
appears to be doing very well. What is important to note about
that is
that fact that in recent years it was lackluster, so
what changed to make the difference? Who gets credit is
irrelevant,
just figure out all of the things that made it happen, understand
their impact and remember the lessons. Some may say, oh the rich got a
tax break and started investing and hiring. If that is correct they
could have done so before too, so why didn't they? Is it because
they could not make the profit they want? That does not mean that
we should give everyone what they want, but it raises the question if
they are rigging
the game to get what they want.
The second thing is to use disruption for your benefit. The Lakota People of the Great Plains call people that are "contrarian, jesters, and satirists, who speak, move and react in an opposite fashion to the people around them - Heyoka." This
film about the Heyoka I shortened from the original explains the
concept of the Heyoka. It is not mine, I just modified it to make
it shorter. We might be tempted to call these people
deranged, but you will notice the Lakota sought lessons from observing
the Heyoka, not shunning them. This idea of the native American Indian approach to mental illness may help to explain why.
It does not matter if Trump is nuts or not, watching what is going
on around him is worth a lot. The value is in how others react. His
pussy grab statement is just one example.
The Disruptive Benefits of Disrespecting Women Publicly
Women are NOT inferior to men, they are different. They
are the only humans born capable of giving
life
and as mothers are bound to the life they birth. To
make them second class citizens subservient
to men is simply a stupid invention of mentally primitive yet
physically
stronger males. It does not matter that
some
historical myths, fictions and inventions of men say some phantom god
meant it
to be that way, as history shows anyone can make stuff up and when
repeated often enough it may
look
like fact. But it’s still just a myth. If you can’t see your way past
that nonsense, then you better start looking for witches again and
start
burning them at the stake, another myth that caused untold damage and
the persistence of ignorance many years ago.
Trump, like many other men, talked about women in a demeaning way. If some high school football player talked like Trump in a
locker room
it would never get noticed. But when
someone people love to hate like Trump says it, it
had the right level
of
unexpected disruption and started a badly needed dialog which is resulting in people finally doing something about the behavior. It’s still a long road girls but you need to stay on it and not get
bullied
out of the way.
To put the challenge in perspective, do you think the Catholic Church
will
allow women to become priests any time soon, or that women will no
longer have to cover their heads in countries that hold those religious
beliefs? And how many women are there in these countries that would do so even if they
could, without facing the indoctrinated fear they might be offending
some god, their parents or husbands, or face being stoned to death.
The Disruptive Benefits of Trump to the Economy
To the 99%
Trump’s
discourse on workers left behind opened a discussion everyone thought
they could
ignore. They are wrong. The number of people that
believe they have to work for someone else far outnumbers those
that
are capitalists and independently wealthy. To
treat these people like exploitable disposable resources to
be used
up to produce wealth is the single biggest failure of capitalism. When a company digs a mine and ravages the
land, they are supposed to take steps to remediate that.
Whether they do or not is another topic, but workers
used up just like a land stripped of its resources are a problem the
exploiters
need to remedy.
People are a resource
and count, while companies are simply pieces
of paper.
There is nothing awesome or holy about them and their behavior is not
separate from their owners and financiers. Instead of talking
about human supremacists of any kind, start talking about corporate
supremacists hiding behind a piece of paper. Cut holes in it and you
can make a mask.
As part of that conversation on workers left behind the immigration issue has flushed out a
conversation we need to
look
at.
The reality is immigration has
nothing to do with kindness and everything to do with exploitation of
immigrants who have few options and are vulnerable for some company to
make a buck. The immigrant workers are used to obtain leverage over American
workers
they are exploited to threaten, all in a bid to lower wages.
Immigrant's vulnerability and the
chains of relatives immigrants leave behind are simply chains made out
of love instead of metal.
You can be sure the slavers could care less
as long as the immigrants shut up and do as they are told and work as
cheaply as possible. The only reason it became a Democratic
issue is
because they got there first in a cynical attempt to use the fear of
deportation to turn immigrants into long term Democratic supporters.
Its called vote rigging. Does anyone think the
Republicans
would not do the same thing if they had figured out how to chain
immigrants to votes for their members and got there first?
Accumulated wealth, power and position are weapons. That
is not to decry capitalism, it just that
most people are not capitalists any more than a person walking off the
street
and climbing in the ring with a professional fighter can be called a
fighter. You can put them in gloves and
shorts, surround them with a cage or a ring, but they are simply
victims to
superior training and experience. The thought that the exploitive
capitalism
practiced in
America is the only way to go is nonsense.
People are the most valuable resource in a nation and treating them
like cattle and slaves is not nation building. Creating jobs for American citizens, raising wages, building a strong economic base which includes technology, manufacturing and inventiveness is.
And think very clearly about this. Have you ever noticed no one
ever talks about the fact that buying things is voluntary and people
can stop? On what basis do people believe, or perhaps hope, consumption
is a never ending form of behavior? Even more troublesome is the question
of what a world will look like that produces essentials rather than a lot
of disposable useless junk. If there is such as thing as being
possession obese, then the growth of storage lockers and garages we
can't park cars in is an indication we are.
To Foreign Nations
Trump has disrupted American foreign policy.
Good thing. American diplomacy is simply gunboat diplomacy. Baa
Baa bullshit - we will eat you if you don’t
submit. You only have to research the subject at
length to
figure it
out. Now that Trump threw off some of the sheepskin the
wolf is highly visible.
As far as American diplomacy being destroyed by Trump, that's
nonsense. Every worker in America that is left behind by
America's economic policies knew damn well they are being screwed, and
not talking about it does not mean they don't get it. American
foreign policy leaves the same feelings under the covers as its
America's domestic economic policy does at home, there are just a bunch
of paid off politicians letting America get away with it, simple as it
is.
It’s about
time everyone looked at their relationship with the US in a clear
light. American diplomacy as dictated by military industrial complex could give a damn about
people,
allies, and others’ interests. The wars they fund prove it. It's all about about profiting from wars and murder.
And on the subject of America’s interests abroad. What
interests? When
I look over my neighbors’ fence I don’t
get to steal their car or the produce in their garden, or the assets in
their
house just because I am interested. America
is behaving like an insane 800 pound gorilla in a day care center
looking for bananas. With a military budget
greater than the next
10 countries combined, and open infiltration of foreign states with
over 900
military bases, all operating under the propaganda of peace and
stability,
America is an
updated version of the British exploiters the founding fathers threw
out by
force.
If you take away the idea that somehow America has any interests in states
that it does not own, then the United States is simply a gun for hire
service, assuming they are invited, otherwise the military is simply a mercenary occupying force. That does not sound
nearly as attractive as "we are on a mission from God."
Are there dictators out there? Sure. Are there people who abuse their citizens? Sure.
America has its share of them both, just study it.
There are many reporters who can supply you with the information.
Think not then consider the Vietnam War which was not a love-in
like Woodstock. The war was based entirely on lies and falsehoods
by American leaders which resulted in the death of 58,000
Americans, 950,000 Vietnamese
soldiers, and somewhere between 1.3 million to 3.9 million
civilians. And it cost an estimated $168 billion then which is now roughly $1.05 trillion dollars today, adjusted for inflation.
That is more than $3,000 per person for everyone alive in the US.
Really? You actually get to pay taxes to support murderous
behavior?
The Vietnam War was the product of a few hundred people claiming to be
your wise leaders and was simply a love-in of hatred for gooks, decency
and total disregard for you and your children. Not only did it kill
millions, it laid the foundation for the hatred of America, which is
not you or your children, but simply the lying scumbags who pull this
stuff off in your name and make it look like it was you that did
it. Talk about identity theft.
The few thousand people conducting this crap in your name are simply
identity thieves using the American flag, murder and mayhem
propagandized as patriotism, honor and integrity. Behind the identity
theft are a few hundred robbers and murderers posing as average
Americans and they have been getting away with it for years.
To Everyone
Everywhere
America is expanding
the
surveillance
of everyone everywhere to facilitate an Orwellian nightmare of state
control on
world populations. This apparatus is
being operated by unaccountable, out of control bureaucrats
in the intelligence community who have been engaged in criminal
activity since
they started. They are simply thugs and have had their way with every
administration since Hoover started blackmailing them.
Trump's ego, thin skin, an independent streak and New Yawk hubris
pushes him to face off with their type, which he apparently learned to
do in the construction business in New York. The only difference
is the thugs in the intelligence community wear fancy suits, don't know
rebar from a deli sandwich, and their corruption is
permanently hidden as a national security flim flam. Trump’s battles
with these
guys have broken the first rule of covert operations, which is
silence. Good thing for all of us.
